Turning kick has over a dozen variations, each with unique strength and weakness that deserve serious attention. For example, there is roundhouse kick which starts with the kicking leg traveling in an arc towards the front with the knee in a chambered position. The knee is extended in the form of a snapping movement for striking the opponent via the top of the foot.
